Twin Cedars and Melcher-Dallas had two different evenings on the basketball court yesterday. The Saints swept Orient-Macksburg; the girls won 58 – 23, with Maddie Roland leading the way with 14 points and Jenny Petersen scoring 12. The boys came out on top, 72 – 44. Troy Lee bucketed 21 points and Chase Wetterling threw in 23 points and the two Saints came up with 15 steals combined. Over in Bussey, the Sabers had a tough time scoring against Lamoni. The girls lost 44 – 36 and the boys fell 71 – 22. Twin Cedars is off until Monday when they host Davis County, and the Saints are at Iowa Christian Academy for a doubleheader tonight.
