The Central women’s basketball team is off to one of their hottest starts in recent history. The Dutch are 7 – 2 right now, and are preparing for a trip to the Caribbean next weekend. One player that has helped spark these women has been the play of sophomore, Kaitlin Stump. She has averaged 12 points per game off the bench and has appeared in all nine contests for Central this season. Coach Chelsea Petersen says that Stump got off to a slow start due to an injury, but has really settled in well since then. Central plays Fairleigh Dickinson and Sacred Heart next during their trip to Puerto Rico on the 28th and 29th.
