Vriendschap Village has had some recent issues at their residence at 2602 Fifield Road. Executive Director Inde Miller tells KNIA/KRLS News that on December 10th, a pipe froze in the attic fire suppression system late at night, causing minimal damage to two residences and part of the dining room. Then at supper time on December 15th, the same length of pipe split, just a little ways down from the repair. The next day on the 16th, Miller says a random alarm was activated when someone plugged in a shop vac and dust blew directly into the fire detection sensor. Miller adds that they are eternally grateful for the speed and service provided by the Pella Fire Department in each of these three incidents.
