Pella High seniors Nathan Clayberg, Greg Frommelt and Cody De Kruyff were each elected to the Iowa Football Coaches Association Academic All-State team for 2013-14. The three senior defensive specialists were in the top five on the team in tackles, combining for 167 take downs, 30 of them for a loss, and five sacks. To be elected onto the All-State Academic team, one must be a senior starter, have at least a 3.7 cumulative GPA and be involved in other activities.
