Nevada makes their way to Monroe this evening for a Heart of Iowa Conference basketball doubleheader against PCM. In the girls’ contest, the Mustangs will have their hands full with a ninth-ranked Cubs’ team. Nevada has three girls averaging more than 10 points per game, with a fourth dumping in almost nine per contest. The Nevada boys are a little down this season after challenging the Mustangs for the conference title last season. Coach Fred Lorensen says that despite Nevada’s struggles, they will be tested each and every night in league play. Kris Krug and Rick Gilson handle play-by-play duties tonight on KNIAKRLS.com. Pregame coverage will start at 5:45 p.m. with tip-off of the girls’ game at six.
