The PCM girls’ basketball team rolled past the Hawks of South Hamilton on Tuesday night, 73-23. The Mustangs went into the locker room ahead 46-12 and never looked back. Even with the impressive victory, head coach Bret Grier sees a few things that his team needs to improve upon. Junior Courtney VanHouweling finished the night with 30 points to lead all scorers. PCM improves to 9-6 on the year. The PCM boys dropped their third straight game as they fell, 63-62. The Mustangs led by 12 midway through the third quarter but the Hawks rallied and hit a three with under 13 seconds remaining in the game to pull off the upset. PCM falls to 10-3 on the season. Both the girls and boys will look to improve their record when they play host to Roland-Story on Friday night.
