The PCM girls and boys basketball teams were able to pick up big road wins on Tuesday night as the Mustangs took down the Tigers of Gilbert High. The PCM girls started the night off with an impressive 54-27 win over the Rams. Junior Courtney VanHouweling led all scorers with 14 points on the night. PCM improves to 7-5 on the season. The PCM boys remain undefeated on the early season at 10-0 after their 62-51 victory. The Tigers led 31-28 at the half but the Mustangs were able to wear down Gilbert late and pull away for the win. Sophomore Logan Gilman led all Mustangs with 16 points on the evening. Although his ball club has yet to lose, Head Coach Fred Lorensen isn’t too focused on an undefeated season. Both the boys and girls teams will take on Greene County for the second time this season of Friday night.
