Rebounding is one thing that the Central men’s basketball team has been working at being better at through their non-conference schedule. Through 11 contests, the Dutch do have an edge in rebounding margin; they are grabbing a little over two more than their opponents are per game. However, in their four losses, they are getting out-rebounded by an average of almost 13 per game. Coach Craig Douma said after their loss to William Penn, his team just simply needs to put out a better effort of going after the loose ball. Central did end on a positive note in the rebounding category; they grabbed an average of 17.5 more than their two opponents did down in Puerto Rico. Central opens up Iowa Conference play this Wednesday at home against Luther.
