Melcher-Dallas and Twin Cedars get back to Bluegrass Conference action this evening in a pair of home games. The Saints host Moravia in a battle of a pair of struggling schools at this part of the season. Melcher-Dallas’ girls are 5 – 5, while the Mohawks are 1 – 4, with their lone win coming over Diagonal. Meanwhile, the Mohawks’ boys are winless at this point of the year, while the Saints will be trying to break a six-game losing streak. For Twin Cedars, the boys perhaps found a groove towards the end of their 2013 schedule, winning four of their last six, with the only losses coming to very good Albia and Murray squads, and tonight, they’ll play host to Iowa Christian Academy. The Sabers’ girls have practically ridden the hot start of Brittney Roby to a 4 – 4 record. Roby is averaging 21 points per game through eight contests. Both schools tip-off at home at 6:00.
