Melcher-Dallas’ boys snapped a six-game losing streak last night with an 86 – 61 victory over Moravia in basketball action. The Saints used a hot start in the first half and were able to coast to victory in the final 16 minutes, scoring 22 and 26 points, respectively, in the first two quarters. Chase Wetterling had 29 points and Troy Lee dumped in 26 for the Saints. The girls had a rough night and fell to Moravia, 50 – 40. The girls drop to 5 – 6 overall and the boys and now 3 – 7. Each team is off for the rest of the week and will be back in action this Tuesday at Twin Cedars.
