Earlier this fall, the Knoxville Boys Basketball Squad put on a skills camp for kids in elementary through high school. The goal of the camp was to get more kids interested in basketball and hopefully grow the numbers for future Panthers programs. Varsity Coach Jeff Larson said around 80 kids participated from grade school through high school. He tells KNIA/KRLS sports the benefits to the high school players are the more time they spend in the gym handling a basketball the better they will get for the season. Larson said he appreciates the leadership of his players who help run the camp.
