Finally eligible to play, transfer student from Southeast Polk High School, Chad Robbins has been “chomping at the bit” to get some playing time. Due to the restrictions of transfer students, Robbins will be able to play in his first game of the season this Tuesday when the Trojans heads to Central Decatur. Coach Tom Wilkins is excited that Robbins’ height will allow them to expand their horizons and abilities on defense. Wilkins adds that offensively, with how tall Robbins is, they’ll be able to play a more inside-out approach and open things up for Dylan Lauer and the rest of the jump shooters who can do some damage from three-point range.
