Fresh off their second sweep of the season, the Pleasantville basketball teams take to the hardwood in East Union looking to do it again this evening. The Eagles have struggled this season, piling up only a few wins on the year. Pleasantville’s girls turned in their best performance since Coach Aaron Fichter took over, said the Trojans’ skipper. On the boys’ side, Pleasantville has been rolling of late, increasing their record to 8 – 3 and are trying for a big ninth win to help their cause for when the brackets come out towards the end of the month. The way the Eagles’ boys have played this season, it may be possible to see some of the Trojans’ reserves, whom Coach Tom Wilkins says he is trying to get more playing time for. Tonight’s game can be heard live on with Kris Krug and Ed Bull on the call. Pregame starts at 6:00 p.m. with tip-off at 6:15.
