The same match-up that it was almost exactly a year ago, Pella High and Grinnell’s boys go at it for a third time tonight, with the victor of the rubber match earning a spot in the substate final this Monday. The Tigers dominated the first meeting before the Christmas break, before the Little Dutch came roaring back nearly a month ago with a 76 – 72 win that saw three players score at least 20 points. What has helped Pella compile a 19 – 3 record to this point has been controlling the speed of the game, and Coach Mark Core says that will be a huge key for either team again tonight. The winner tonight will play either Fort Madison or Keokuk in Iowa City on Monday night with a trip to “The Well” on the line. You can hear tonight’s big game live on 92.1 KRLS and KNIAKRLS.com with Cory Houser and Randy Sikkema providing the play-by-play coverage. Pregame starts at 6:30 p.m. with tip-off scheduled for seven.
