Knoxville Hospital and Clinics Foundation will host their third annual Strikes, Spares and Stitches Bowl-A-Thon on March 8, at Fairlane Bowl in Knoxville. Between 3 and 5, family time bowling will take place, then at 5:30, adult bowl starts. Katrina Nelson, director of Public Relations, says there will be bingo bowling, and if you want, come out in a costume and there will be awards for best costume. The Foundation works to provide the setting, tools and people for Knoxville Hospital and Clinics to deliver quality care. Last March, the Foundation was able to purchase a new surgical table for the surgery department at the hospital, offering surgeons more flexibility in surgery.
