High-School

On of the topics of discussion for the Knoxville School Board recently has been the high school energy audit. Superintendent Dr. Randy Flack says that Siemens Corporation made a proposal for conducting an audit of the energy usage at the high school. Dr. Flack says the equipment is original from 1996, and some of the classroom units are showing their age. He says a committee made up of himself, board members Moats and McDonald, and Business Manager Craig Mobley have been talking with Siemens about this audit. Dr. Flack says Mobley has been talking with MidAmerican Energy about ways to make the high school and all of the buildings as energy efficient as possible.
