A trip to Perry and the 11th ranked Perry Bluejays are the reward for the Knoxville Girls Basketball Squad after knocking off Norwalk in Wednesday’s class 4A Regional opener. The Panthers will go up against an 18-win club that finished third a rugged Raccoon River Conference. Coach Jim Utiermarkt says the girls have nothing to lose and try not to think back on the game last year in Perry. The Panthers lost to the Bluejays by 42 points last season. Knoxville comes in with a 10-12 record, their first double-digit win season since 2010. You can hear the play-by-play Saturday on AM 1320 and 95.3 KNIA starting at 7:45.
