The conference tournament took place on Saturday in Norwalk, and both Petty and Azinger won at 126 and 132, respectively. Petty scored three straight falls, over Ben Fisher of Dallas Center-Grimes, Nick Beebe of Oskaloosa, and Dalton Kies of Grinnell in the championship. Each pin took less than 90 seconds for Petty to record. Azinger scored a fall over Colin McNeill of Knoxville, and won by decision over Zach Johnston of Norwalk. Pella next has a dual with Oskaloosa on Thursday.
