The Marion County Board of Supervisors met Tuesday. The board discussed the policy regarding Marion County credit cards authorized through Iowa State Savings Bank. The current policy is that each department head asks for the limit they think they’ll use. If that limit isn’t sufficient, the supervisors ask that the request for increase be brought to a board meeting. Each authorized person is required to provide purchase receipts for anything the card is used for, as well. The Board approved this policy. The final item was an update on the supervisors boards and commissions.
