After their loss to Newton last week, Pella Christian girls’ basketball coach, Kevin Van Maanen, mentioned he felt like his team had perhaps went backwards a few steps after making strides forward. When his Eagles beat Oskaloosa on Friday, Van Maanen mentioned how they are gaining more confidence but they still have more growth to do before the regional tournaments a week from Saturday. After they face Pella tomorrow, Pella Christian will hit the road to take on Norwalk on Friday.
