Having already dispatched one Bluegrass Conference team in round two on Saturday, the Pleasantville boys’ basketball team goes head-to-head with another when Ankeny Christian Academy makes their way inside of the Trojans’ gym tonight. It’s the semifinals of the Class 1A district tournament and Coach Tom Wilkins is hoping for a better defensive effort from his team after they allowed several three’s and turned the ball over from backcourt pressure by Grandview Park Baptist. Wilkins says the Eagles are quietly having a good season. Tonight’s semifinal game can be heard on AM 1320 and FM 95.3 KNIA and streamed live on KNIAKRLS.com with Kris Krug and Ed Bull on the call.
