Both Melcher-Dallas and Twin Cedars already begin their journey through the regional tournament this evening in two separate contests. The two schools are hosting their opponents this evening; the Saints play against a one-win Tri-County, Thornburg team, while the Sabers are up against a three-win HLV squad. Saints’ coach, Jon Suntken has been impressed with the defense, and he says he hopes it continues tonight. The Tri-County/Melcher-Dallas winner plays Lynnville-Sully on Tuesday, while the Twin Cedars-HLV victor (pun completely intended) will face-off against English Valleys.
