The Knoxville Boys Track and Field Squad will not be as deep in the distance races, however the talent level will be high as usual. Coach Mike Cunningham the Second tells KNIA/KRLS two guys from the cross country team this fall will take on the 1600 and 3200 meter races. Cunningham hopes one or both runners can qualify for a state berth this season. While he says it may not be the strength of the team…he does expect to see both runners score each meet.
