The Pella Christian boys’ basketball team has had several younger players step up and be big contributors the last few seasons. Sebastian Baugh flexed his muscles last season and was another force to be reckoned with this year. Also stepping up and finding a place in the starting line-up was freshman Levi Jungling. He hit a pair of big shots off the bench to help the Eagles beat Des Moines Christian, which opened the eyes of the coaching staff. Coach Larry Hessing says that though it is a tough transition to go from eighth grade basketball to a varsity high school team, Jungling handled it well. Hessing adds that Jungling will be one of the big components returning for the Eagles for 2014-15.
