If you ask Knoxville Boys Basketball Coach Jeff Larson, he would tell you his 2013/2014 team was a very enjoyable team to coach. He tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he was especially proud of how the guys fought through adversity this season. One of the highlights was an overtime win against Oskaloosa early in the season when the Panthers were down for most of the game. Another highlight of fighting through adversity was the Panthers win over Centerville in the first round of the class 3A district. Centerville took the lead in the third quarter, however Knoxville would rebound to win and advance to the next round. Larson says that was one of the hallmarks of the team. Knoxville finished 6-17 on the season, falling to Chariton in the district final last week.
