The Pella High boys’ track and field team opened up their outdoor season last night in Washington. Racing and throwing against some stiff competition, the Little Dutch came in third as a team, finishing only behind Cedar Rapids Prairie and Mount Pleasant. The 4 x 800 meter relay team of Levi Heschke, Jordan Pingel, Payson VandeLune and Aaron Houtz placed first, and Pingel was second in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 56 seconds flat.
