Also dealing with a flux of athletes, the Pella Christian boys’ track and field team looks to be more competitive this season than in years past. The Eagles have many kids back from last year’s squad which took a few events to the state meet at Drake Stadium. New to the program, though, is just under half the team, a fact that Coach Keith Anderson is pretty excited about. Pella Christian opens up their track season with a home quad meet against Des Moines Christian, Lynnville-Sully and Twin Cedars on Tuesday, April 1 to officially get things underway.
