One of the points of emphasis this offseason for the Knoxville Girls Basketball program is better outside shooting especially from the three point line. Coach Jim Utiermarkt tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that many of the Panthers’ opponents packed in the lane and forced Knoxville to beat them from the outside, Utiermarkt adds he has players that can be very effective on the inside when given the chance. However…that has to come from the outside when the shots are going in. Knoxville finished the season with a 10-13 record.
