The Pella High boys’ track and field team head outside for their first official competition of the 2014 season today as they get on the bus and go to Washington for a boys’ track meet. The numbers for the Little Dutch this season are down, but Coach Brent Van Hauen says it will give them a chance to focus more individually and even get back to their roots. First events at Washington High School are scheduled to get underway at 4:30 p.m. this afternoon.
