They were looking for depth early on in the season, but once the Pella High girls’ basketball team was able to find some, they had several bullets in the chamber they could fire throughout a game. Three freshmen saw significant playing time in Katie Vander Molen, Ciara Buchheit and Kiara Bradley, and each will be pivotal in the Lady Dutch’s success next season. Coach Jerod Garland says that one of their strength’s was their talent on the offensive side of the ball. Pella’s girls return all but Jackie Sunderman for the 2014-15 season this winter.
