While numbers are still a bit low for the Knoxville Girls Golf Squad, Coach Jason Carter is pleased to have nine girls which is nearly double the numbers he had last season. He also has a couple of players that have some experience coming back. Carter tells KNIA/KRLS Sports Evy Wells and Sierra Findley should be his top two players. Carter adds he had five freshmen, and a couple of played golf before coming out for the high school squad. Jade Dilliner, Brooke Willardson, and Emma Welker are new to the game, but have made nice progress. He says Taylor Harding and Maggie Leavitt are the two that have some experience.
