While most of us are just dreaming about getting on the golf course right now, our area high school golf teams are already on the local courses getting ready for the 2014 spring season. The Knoxville Girls program has nearly double the amount of players as last season. Coach Jason Carter says that is a good thing since he can form a team that will be eligible for tournament championships. He also tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that the weather is already helping his younger players get experience. The Panthers still have a little while before their first meet which is April 14th in a quad against Oskaloosa, Albia, and Chariton.
