Four scores in the low forties were not quite enough for the Pella Christian boys’ golf team to overtake Knoxville and Grinnell at Pine Knolls Country Club in a conference triangular. The Eagles shot a team total of 171, just four strokes behind first place Knoxville, with Grinnell finishing second with 168. Mason Howerzyl shot the best for the Eagles with a round of 41, followed by Josh Posthuma’s 42. Full results can be found below. The Eagles are presumably off until Monday to play in the conference tournament at Edmunson Golf Club in Oskaloosa.
