The Knoxville’s Got Talent competition was held recently. Curt Schwanebeck, with Knoxville Noon Kiwanis, tells KNIA KRLS News that the major fundraiser for the Missoula Children’s Theater was a success. He says the competitors ranged from very young children to adults, and The Blue Moon Bluegrass group entertained during intermission. KNIA KRLS’ own Stephen Flattery and General Manager Jim Butler emcee’ed the event.

Schwanebeck says the winner, chosen for thinking outside the box, was Knoxville fifth grader Jayce Hughes, who presented a video of a horse riding demonstration with her horse Kippy.

Second place went to Lane Franck & Tara Uitermarkt for a dance routine. Third place went to Kaitlyn Collins, who sang. Seven of the acts were awarded a chance to perform at this years Marion County Fair.
