Nevada and the rest of the field were dominated by the Pella High boys’ and girls’ track teams on Thursday night. The Lady Dutch won 12 different events, including all of the relay races. The highlight of the evening, other than the first place team finish, was Tess Roorda, who set a new school record in the 1500 meters with an unofficial time of 5:01.90. Coach Dak Rasmussen tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that several of the relays are looking very good for the Drake Relays qualifying. A full list of girls’ finishers can be found below. Pella is next in action at Oskaloosa on Saturday.
