The Pella High track and field teams didn’t let something like “Prom” slow them down on Saturday. Both teams won the Panther Relays at Knoxville High School in their latest outdoor track meet. The Little Dutch had several first place finishes, including a win in the 4 x 400 meter relay, Jordan Pingel took first in the 800 meters, and Garret Jansen threw the furthest discus. The Lady Dutch took first place in 11 events, even though many of the juniors and seniors had to leave for prom about halfway though. Full results for both of Pella’s track teams can be found below.
