The Pella High track and field teams conquered the fields at the Oskaloosa Invitational on Saturday. Despite the windy conditions, the boys and girls turned in some very good times. The Lady Dutch captured ten first place medals, with four of them coming in relay events, including the 4 x 400 and 800, and the sprint and distance medleys. Nine others finished in the top three. For the boys, they did not have as many first place finishes, but still had some very strong showings. First place medals went to the 4 x 800 meter relay team, 400 hurdles, and to the shot and discus throwers. Condensed results for both teams can be found below. Pella’s track teams are next in action this Tuesday.
