The first 15 minutes were not kind to the Pella Christian soccer team yesterday, as Newton put four past the Eagles’ goaltender in a 5 – 0 win by the Cardinals. Coach Garritt Brouwer says that his team is dealing with injuries; three of their main starters are out, including a main offensive cog in John Admiraal. The Eagles drop to 1 – 3 on the year and will play tomorrow at home against North Polk.
