Both teams still working out some early season kinks, the Pella High tennis teams face a stiff challenge tonight when they play Southeast Polk for a non-conference meet. The Lady Dutch haven’t played since last week on Monday in a meet with Oskaloosa that was cut short due to severe weather. However, the weather has turned for the better lately, which has allowed the girls to get outside to practice. Coach Josh McCollum says they’ve been working on being more forceful during matches. Pella’s girls will have to make the road trip to the Rams’ high school facilities, while the boys will stay at home to face S-E-P. Both meets are scheduled to get underway at 4:15 p.m.
