The Knoxville and Martensdale St. Mary’s softball squads nearly played an unintentional double header last night. The Panthers got a R-B-I triple from Cheyenne Jones to score Emily Wallace and held on in the bottom of the 12th inning to topple the Class 1A #5 Blue Devils 6-5 last night. Wallace also pitched the entire game to earn the win as Knoxville improves to 1-1 on the season and will host Class 3A #2 Clarke tonight.
