Pella High’s girls’ soccer team shellacked Oskaloosa, 4 – 1 last night, giving the Lady Dutch yet another Little Hawkeye Conference championship. Pella got goals from Mallory Lynch, Emma Thoreson, and two from Brooke Darnell. Coach Mark Howard tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that it could have been a lot more, as his team had 13 shots on goal. The Lady Dutch finish the regular season with a mark of 11 – 5 overall, and they will play the winner of Friday’s Knoxville vs. Newton match in the semifinals of the Class 2A regional tournament next Tuesday.
