The Pella High boys’ and girls’ tennis teams had polar opposite days on the courts yesterday. The Little Dutch downed Boone, 9 – 2, to move to 6 – 0 in dual meets. Pella won five of the six singles matches, and took four of five doubles to dominate the day. Over on the girls’ side, they played both Boone and Newton to make-up for some postponed meets over the past few weeks. Unfortunately for the Lady Dutch, they could muster just one match win on the day. Bri Buzick picked up Pella’s lone victory, triumphing over Boone’s Jenny Behn in three sets. #5 Singles : Dingeman lost to Joey Cornelis 4-6, 1-6.
#6 Singles : Jaarsma lost 0-6, 2-6 against Carlie Romig.

#1 Doubles : Wassenaar and Buzick lost a tough match 6-4, 5-7, 8-10 to Leeds and Behn.
#2 Doubles : Kalkwarf and Dingeman lost a three setter 6-2, 3-6, 6-10
#3 Doubles : Kriegel and Jaarsma lost 0-6, 1-6 to Morganne Borsh and Romig.
#4 Doubles : Williamson and Wilborn lost a tough first set tiebreak before losing the second set and lost 6-7(4), 2-6 to Bianca Fuentes and Bridgette Good.
#5 Doubles : Bossard and Johnson lost 2-6, 3-6 to Sarah Statz and Ellen Titman.

Pella lost 0-11 to Newton. Due to the late start time of the meet, the Pella and Newton Teams played 10 game pro-set matches.
