The Pleasantville boys’ track and field team will be performing in at least two events next week on the Blue Oval. Patrick Sheehey qualified his high and long jumps for the Class 1A meet. Coach Gabe Bakker tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that hopefully 3 – 5 more events make it when the rest of the times come out from the other district meets. On the Melcher-Dallas side of things, Chase Wetterling won the 400 meter dash, and could make it with his time in the 200, though it wasn’t one of the top two in his district.
