Twin Cedars’ offense came alive last night over two separate opponents. The softball team downed Davis County, 15 – 13 in a heavyweight bout. Twin Cedars scored 11 runs in the second inning to blow the game open. Brittney Roby drove in five runs going 4-for-5 at the plate with three doubles. Baylee Zellmer was 3-for-4 with four RBI’s. Sabers’ baseball moved to 15 – 0 with an 8 – 1 win over Lamoni. Trace Embray got the win on the mound. Otis Roby was 2-for-3 and Corey Harrell went 2-for-3 with four RBI’s on the day. Sabers’ softball improves to 9 – 5 and each squad plays Orient-Macksburg tonight.
