Running through a difficult Iowa Conference slate this year, the Central softball team finished perhaps a bit short of expectations in 2014. As the regular season schedule was winding down, a few of the younger starters were having troubles at the plate, including junior second baseman, Abbey Strajack. That’s when the seniors stepped up to show their leadership, says Coach George Wares. The Dutch finished 30 – 12 overall and lose just six seniors off of their varsity roster.
