They rewrote records, went to a World Series, played in several postseason games, and in the blink of an eye, have graduated. All six of the seniors that were a member of the 2014 Central softball team had an impact on the team, whether it was on the field or off. It’s rare when a team doesn’t go through the “farewell” phase, and Coach George Wares says it will still be hard to see these ladies go. Central still returns starters in eight different positions, which bodes well for 2015. They finished this season with a mark of 30 – 12 and qualified for the NCAA Division III national tournament.
