Pella Christian’s ball clubs keep on rolling, and last night they picked up victories over Pleasantville. The Eagles’ girls beat the Trojans 9 – 6 on the softball diamond. Pella Christian pounded out eight hits, with two each coming from Abby Pleima, Tessa Howerzyl and Lauren Jungling. Taylor Hartson and Nicole Kelderman each saw time at the pitcher’s position. Pella Christian defeated Pleasantville in baseball, 9 – 5. Riley Krichau for the Trojans had a pair of singles and Cassin Garr had two doubles. For the Eagles. Andrew VanderHart went 3-for-4 with a grand slam and Dillon Branderhorst pitched six strong innings to work the win. Pella Christian baseball is 3 – 2, the Trojans drop to that same record; the Eagles’ girls are 4 – 0 and the Trojans fall to 1 – 3.
