Central’s tennis teams will bring back a very young core when the 2014-15 fall seasons start up in a few months. The men lost three seniors, two of them were three year letter-winners. The women lost a pair of athletes that didn’t see a lot of varsity playing time but were still important pieces of the puzzle. Outgoing coach, Steve Tyler, says that the seniors helped teach the rest of the squad that team bonding is very important when it comes to playing better, especially in doubles competition. Tyler says that if the team can continue to encourage one another and keep their heads up, positive things will happen. The men’s team will have four senior players on it next season and the girls will bring back three juniors-to-be-seniors, and a total of five sophomores that will be juniors.
