The Iowa Economic Development Authority recently contacted Knoxville’s City Manager Harold Stewart, with an inquiry if Knoxville had interest in advertising in their Economic Development Guide. Stewart says the organization sends out the guide to market the state of Iowa to site selectors and trade shows, even sends them out internationally. Stewart says the City had the option of purchasing a small ad, for $2200, or a two-page profile, which would highlight all Knoxville has to offer, for $14,000. The City Council discussed the benefits, and ultimately elected to do the two-page profile. We will have more from Stewart on this topic on Let’s Talk Knoxville, today.
