The Knoxville Softball Squad’s defense was solid, but the Panthers just could not get a timely hit and fell to Eddyville-Blakesburg 1-0 last night. The Panthers got a solid effort from pitcher Emily Wallace scattering five hits with no walks and two strikeouts. Ricky Hall had a double, Carrie Chambers and Marissa Lenger each had a hit and a stolen base. Knoxville is 1-3 on the season and will host Grinnell tomorrow.
